Homebuyers wanting to switch-up their home without the DIY commitments have been recently delighted by Inland Homes’ new Essex development, Templar Green. Offering a wide variety of new build houses in the quaint village of Cressing, the launch weekend was a fantastic success, fully booked with 10 reservations taken from the first release of homes, and a similar high interest expected to continue into the coming months.

Set on a quiet residential road just four miles south of the larger town of Braintree, Templar Green comprises a new collection of two, three and four bedroom homes in a range of layouts. The launch weekend and unveiling of the stunning new show homes – with interiors designed by Claude Hooper and Artspace – was a huge success with Essex residents and homebuyers, with over 60% of properties snapped up across the weekend alone, leaving just six homes in the current release available to purchase!

“We’re thrilled that the new homes at Templar Green proved to be popular during the launch. The site and show homes are both looking fantastic, perfectly showcasing what life can be like with an Inland home. Across the weekend, we were fully-booked with appointments from interested customers, and took an incredible ten reservations in the two days alone! Not only are new build homes a hassle-free choice, but this is coupled with an amazing location for properties at Templar Green. Cressing offers a quiet village location that’s still within easy reach of the amenities in Braintree, perfect for living a rural yet convenient lifestyle,” commented Vicki Noon, Sales and Marketing Director at Inland Homes.

Homes at Templar Green have been designed with a countryside lifestyle in mind, surrounded by ample green space, play areas, a village green and an orchard. A perfect example of one of the properties available is The Lavendon, a contemporary four bedroom family home with living space spread across three floors. On the ground floor, an open-plan kitchen/dining/family room is situated to the rear of the property, with French doors leading out onto a private turfed garden. The kitchen comes complete with stylish handleless kitchen units, and integrated appliances including a fridge/freezer, dishwasher and combi microwave. A separate living room provides space for all the family to relax together, whilst a downstairs WC and utility room complete the floor.

Upstairs, the first floor is home to the second bedroom – complete with its own en suite – and two further easily-adaptable bedrooms. The family bathroom is also on this floor, enjoying contemporary white suites and Quartz vanity units. The master bedroom is located exclusively on the second floor of the property, benefitting from its’ own dressing room and en-suite. Each home at Templar Green also comes complete with either a garage, car port or dedicated parking spaces to ensure peace of mind for vehicle owners and visitors.

Essex homebuyers at Templar Green will have the best of both worlds, right on their doorstep. Cressing itself enjoys a village shop for everyday amenities, a Boots pharmacy, library and a post office. Just a short drive away is the larger historic town of Braintree, offering an excellent array of retail options, restaurants, bars and entertainment. The George Yard Shopping Centre offers residents the choice of a number of well-known high street brands including Peacocks, WH Smith and Superdrug, whilst the larger Braintree Shopping Village offers designer outlets from brands such as Reiss, Ted Baker and White Stuff. Braintree is also home to a number of indoor leisure facilities including a 12-screen Cineworld cinema, Braintree District Museum and Namco Funscape – an entertainment venue with bowling, an arcade and a soft play area.

For families with children, there are a number of first-class education options surrounding Templar Green. Rated ‘Good’ by OFSTED, Cressing Primary School is an eight minute walk from the development, whilst for older children, Hunter Academy Secondary School is a 13 minute bus journey away. For further education, Braintree Sixth Form is an 8 minute drive away.

Commuting residents will be well-placed at Templar Green. Cressing station has direct services into London Liverpool Street in 55 minutes, from which a variety of tube lines can be picked up. The neighbouring towns of Colchester (32 minutes) and Chelmsford (20 minutes) can be reached easily by rail too, whilst by road the M25 can be reached within 45 minutes, transporting residents to Central London, neighbouring counties and beyond.
