Living Space Housing has promoted Steve Woodbine to Site Manager, tasking him with leading the delivery of a £10 million residential development in Shrewsbury.
Woodbine, who joined the business in 2020 as an Assistant Site Manager, has quickly established himself as a key member of the construction team. He previously contributed to the award-winning Perryfields scheme in Bromsgrove and has recently completed an NVQ Level 6 in Construction Site Management, strengthening his credentials for the new role.
The Shrewsbury project, located off Cedars Drive, will deliver 38 affordable and social homes in partnership with Housing Plus Group. A mix of terraced and semi-detached properties is planned, with homes available for shared ownership, affordable rent, and social rent.
Sustainability is at the forefront of the scheme, with measures such as air source heat pumps, solar panels, and EV charging points integrated into the design.
Managing Director Paul Breen said Woodbine’s promotion reflected his “exceptional professionalism and commitment,” adding that the new Site Manager was well placed to drive the Shrewsbury development forward.
