Big Business Entrepreneurs (BBE) is encouraging policymakers and stakeholders to provide stronger, more targeted support for business owners across the North West.
The region is one of the UK’s key economic engines, with over 1.19 million businesses and a contribution exceeding 10% of the country’s total enterprise base.
From globally connected cities to smaller towns and rural communities, the North West presents a varied business landscape, where opportunities exist but scaling can be uneven.
Adam Stott, Founder of Big Business Entrepreneurs, said: “As one of the UK’s powerhouse economies, the North West stands to accelerate growth even further through business coaching that helps smaller firms match the performance of its major commercial hubs.”
BBE argues that structured coaching can help unlock growth across the region by giving business owners access to essential skills in digital transformation, monetisation and scaling — areas often dominated by larger cities such as Manchester and Liverpool.
Adam Stott added: “Many North West business owners are working incredibly hard but not necessarily in the right areas to drive growth. Coaching helps them focus, build momentum and unlock the commercial potential that already exists within their organisations.”
