Robertson Facilities Management Secures One-Year Contract with DONG Energy

A business within the Robertson Group, Roberston Facilities Management, has managed to secure a one-year contract with the global offshore wind leader DONG Energy. Robertson Group is one of the largest independently owned construction, infrastructure and support services companies in operation in the UK.

The new agreement that has been formed will see the Robertson Facilities Management business deliver a combination of both hard and soft FM services to DONG Energy as a part of their work on a new offshore wind farm operation which will be based in King’s Wharf in Birkenhead. The operations base was completed earlier this year will be open to serve Burbo Bank and Burbo Bank Extension offshore wind farms. These two wind farm locations have the combined capacity to power more than 310,000 homes each year.

The Managing Director of Robertson Facilities Management, Ian Gibson has said that he and the company are delighted to be working to offer a breadth of FM services for their client, DONG Energy. This one-year contract will be great news for the company as it will allow them to become an essential part of the King’s Wharf site.

Robertson Group’s presence in the North West of the country is expanding, and committing to delivering the highest possible standards throughout their diverse customer base while also making sure that they have a positive impact on local communities.
