SEPA is Scotland’s principal environmental regulator. But we do much more than solely regulate. Our overall aim is to protect our environment and human health, and contribute to sustainable economic growth. We are currently working to modernise our Facilities service and this role will help us to enhance the service the Facilities department provides across the business.
You will help to deliver SEPA’s Estate Strategy through a wide range of work from overseeing the maintenance of our Estate to helping deliver a flexible and modern work environment that enables high performance. Working closely with local managers you’ll arrange for repairs to be carried out, supervise contractors on construction work and co-ordinate rent, rate and lease arrangements. You’ll also make sure that all our facilities work stays within the set financial budgets You should havespecialist knowledge of facilities management gained within a similar role, experience of budgetary management, excellent communication skills and a relevant HND level qualification. You must also have a comprehensive understanding of legislation relating to facilities management.
