ZENTIA’S SONIFY RANGE OF ACOUSTIC BAFFLES USED AT HTC ARCHITECTS OFFICE REFURBISHMENT

HTC Architects, a leading architectural practice working across the UK, recently decided to refurbish its office in Leeds. For a practice that has gained a reputation for impressive designs specialising in Commercial, Industrial, Retail and Residential sectors, it was important for the same great quality to be put into redesigning its own office.

CHALLENGE

HTC Architects were looking for a complete ceiling solution that would be suitable for two central hubs within its offices, the reception and board room. Due to the busy, and collaborative nature of the spaces, a ceiling solution was required that would reduce reverberation time, ensuring a space that would be conducive to meetings and welcoming clients. As an architectural practice, it was also important for a wide range of design capabilities to be on offer.

Zentia had conducted a CPD session for the staff at HTC Architects. Impressed by Zentia’s acoustic and design expertise, as well as its high-quality products, Zentia was asked to design a solution that would meet all the projects needs.

SOLUTION

Zentia was able to provide an effective solution to meet all the client’s needs with its Sonify range of acoustic baffles. Available in the largest range of colours currently on the market, and providing exceptional acoustic performance, the baffles provided HTC Architects with creative freedom whilst not compromising on functionality.

HTC Architects chose baffles in its company colours, light grey, dark grey and orange, championing the company in a stylish and effective way. The baffles are able to successfully reduce reverberation time, ensuring a space that would enhance privacy, but still allow for effective collaboration during meetings in the boardroom.

The ceilings are due to be installed in mid-March by installers, Sparta Ceilings. As members of Zentia’s Pinnacle Partnership Scheme, the installation offers a sustainable edge, with Sparta Ceilings having access to Zentia’s off-cut recycling scheme.

HTC Architects’ decision to refurbish its headquarters reflects its commitment to maintaining the same level of quality and innovation in its own workspace as it delivers in its architectural projects. Zentia’s Sonify range of acoustic baffles emerged as the perfect fit, offering the architectural practice the opportunity to elevate its workspace to new heights.
