Building upon the notable achievements of Material Source Studio in Manchester, the establishment of a second site in Glasglow, Scotland marks an exciting expansion in providing architects and designers a dynamic space for collaboration, learning, and creative exploration. The studio offers two meeting spaces, a gallery, hub, workshop space, lecture theatre and innovative displays from over 25 partners.
CHALLENGE
Material Source aimed to create an exciting visual display of a complete ceiling system, for local architects and designers to take inspiration from for future projects. A range of products were required that would not only demonstrate individuality, functionality and flexibility but also seamlessly integrate within the operational workspace of the studio.
The studio continued to be a working environment throughout installation, so it was crucial that the ceiling system could be installed quickly and easily to minimise any disruption.
SOLUTION
Zentia partnered with Material Studio to install a selection of its Sonify waved baffles and canopy systems, effectively highlighting the diverse colour and shape options available on the market.
The Sonify system is simple and easy to install, which meant from design stage to installation, the project was completed within three weeks, ensuring the clients did not experience delays that would prevent its business offerings.
The ceiling was installed by Howe Suspended Ceilings, a member of Zentia’s Pinnacle Partnership Scheme. Pinnacle Partners are trained to the highest standards and have exclusive access to Zentia’s off-cut recycling service, meaning the project benefitted from a high-standard, environmentally friendly ceiling installation.
By incorporating Zentia’s innovative systems, the studio can now proudly showcase a spectrum of products that epitomise creative freedom for architects and designers alike.
