First Homes at New Development in Hempsted Go on Sale

The first new homes on a new development in the Gloucestershire village of Hempsted have now been released for sale. Bellway is building 50 homes at Sandalwood Green, off Hempsted Lane, alongside 3.7 acres of new public open space for residents to enjoy.

The homes will be part of Bellway’s flagship Artisan Collection, with a five-bedroom Watchmaker showhome set to open in April this year to demonstrate the thoughtful design and high-quality finish of the houses for sale.

Work has already started on building the first homes at the Hempsted development, and the first new homeowners are expected to be able to move in this summer.

“Work is progressing well on Sandalwood Green, and we had been looking forward to releasing the first homes for sale. It won’t be long before the showhome is open so people who want to move here can start to get a feel for the place and what the homes will look like,” said Sales Manager for Bellway, Carly Maidment.

There’s a mix of four and five-bedroom houses for private sale being delivered at Sandalwood Green, with prices confirmed at the launch.

The Watchmaker showhome will be a luxurious detached house with en-suite shower rooms to two of the five double bedrooms upstairs, while the ground-floor layout includes a spacious open-plan kitchen/dining/family room, plus a separate living room, a study and a utility room.

Carly said: “Living at Sandalwood Green will give people the best of both worlds, as they can make the most of a spacious, landscaped village development with all the amenities of the city of Gloucester not far away.

“We’re already seeing a great deal of interest in these exceptional new homes from the Artisan Collection, which was developed on the back of decades of customer feedback. The four and five-bedroom houses at Sandalwood Green provide space for those working from home, to reflect the changing lifestyles of many people.

“Plus, for those who are commuting to work, it’s only two miles from Gloucester railway station and less than ten minutes’ drive from the M5.

“With the first selection of homes released for sale, buyers will be able to take advantage of schemes like Express Mover, in helping them secure their home with Bellway.”
