Land and development opportunities across the West Midlands in Bond Wolfe’s September auction

Land and potential development opportunities abound in the next Bond Wolfe livestreamed property auction to be held on Thursday 14 September.

Top of many investors’ list will be land off Ridding Lane & Addison Street, Wednesbury, This L-shaped freehold site already has planning permission for the development of five houses.

Colin Totney, land and development surveyor at Bond Wolfe, said: “In conjunction with other land, permission to develop was granted by Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council in June 2022.

“The current permission envisages the development of five houses comprising a terrace of four 2 bedroom houses and a separate three bedroom detached house.”

The site has a guide price* of £250,000+.

And a freehold parcel of land at Cole Valley Road/Highfield Road, Hall Green, Birmingham, of approximately 0.48 acres may have development potential too, subject to planning permission, and comes with a guide price of £20,000+.

A 2,420.33 sq ft plot between 499 & 503 Lode Lane, Solihull, in a popular and affluent area, may be suitable for residential development, subject to planning permission, and has a guide price of £20,000+.

In Halesowen, land Adjoining 61 Lyttleton Avenue has planning permission for the development of a three bedroom house and a guide price of £80,000+.

On land adjoining 55 Glenthorne Avenue, Worcester, there is planning permission already in place to construct a two bedroom detached house. This lot has a guide price of £45,000-£50,000.

But one of the star lots will undoubtedly be a prime plot of land on the edge of the highly desirable Worcestershire village of Hagley. Next to existing residential areas, the seven-acre parcel will attract considerable interest from developers across the country with an eye for potential sites.
