L&Q are continuing to work on their pledge to deliver 25,000 Private Rental Sector, or PRS, homes by launching 68 new homes at their development in Sutton. The 68 new homes will be available for private rental, and will be located at development Seventeen on Sutton Court Road, in Surrey. The properties will consist of 46 one bedroomed apartments and 22 two bedroomed apartments. The difference between these properties and others on the market at the moment is that the L&Q properties will be pet friendly.

It is uncommon for rental properties to allow pets, so the properties will be perfect for those looking to add a four-legged friend to their lives. It is thought that the properties will also suit sharers, as the two bedroomed apartments come fitted with two bathrooms. L&Q are also offering a furniture package that can be covered with an additional monthly cost. This furniture package would save the tenants the cost of buying large items of furniture just after moving in.

The apartments vary in size in order to suit budgets and needs of the potential tenants. The Seventeen PRS apartments are also located close to Sutton High Street and two minutes away from Sutton Railway station. This means that the development would be perfect for those wanting frequent access to London. L&Q are looking at creating 25,000 new PRS homes, but are wanting to make sure that their developments are varied in order to suit a diverse set of needs. This is in order to meet the demand for rented houses while also meeting the requirements of the tenants.

Prices for the apartments start at £950 per month for a one bedroomed apartment and £1050 for the two bedroomed homes. The bathrooms are fitted with British Ceramics Wall Tiles and Roca Gap bathroom appliances. The Master bedrooms in the properties come with built in wardrobes. Each of the properties come with private outdoor space and floor to ceiling windows to let in as much light as possible to the apartments.
