The Regenerate South Showcase 2017 attracted a lot of attention last week after the show was attended by a wide range of Investors, developers, agents and consultants located around the UK. Those that attended the event were able to see the sites included in the exhibits as well as being able to go to presentations and hear local and national speakers as part of the event.
The attendees were also given the opportunity to view the developments included in the exhibition in real life as site tours took place in the afternoon of the event. The sites that were visited were the Whitehill & Bordon, Southampton City Centre, Portsmouth City Centre, Bournemouth Town Centre and Solent Airport and Business Parks.
This Showcase is helping Regenerate South to change the dynamics of the development within the region. Regenerate South was started by Business South and is a scheme that has expertise from both the public and private sectors in order to create sites in their region that are ready for the market. The Regenerate South Group also looks into promoting the sites that can be used to boost national and international inward investment.
Business South is an organisation that works like a social enterprise. The focus for the organisation is to be known nationally and internationally in order to boost opportunities for investment and business in the region as well as attracting talent to the area.
