    A compact apartment with the unconventional feature of a kitchen bed has become available for rent at £1,200 per month, and it comes with an external shower – though “hot water” is included.

    This high-priced rental property offers a double bed positioned in the corner of the room, which, surprisingly, occupies most of the living space.

    Situated in Tuffnell Park, Crayford, London, the studio boasts a small kitchen area located just inches away from the mattress. The kitchen includes a sink, oven, and microwave, but space limitations seem to exclude a full-size refrigerator.

    For those who prefer not to dine in bed, a small table is squeezed between the mattress and kitchen sink, with room for only one chair.

    The flat’s tight layout results in a wardrobe and set of drawers blocking the entrance to the front door.

    A separate “private” bathroom is provided, but tenants must exit the studio and walk down a corridor to access the shower.

    Without space for a washing machine, residents will need to use a communal laundry room for their laundry needs.

    Despite the steep monthly rent of £1,200, the cost includes heating and hot water expenses.

    The listing on OpenRent states: “We are delighted to present this furnished ground floor studio with its own private shower on Crayford Road, Tufnell Park – priced at £1200pm.

    “The property is conveniently situated, less than a 10-minute walk from Holloway Road, which offers a variety of shops, cafes, a gym, cinema, and other amenities.

    “Tufnell Park Underground Station is a mere 10 minutes’ walk away.

    “Complimentary access to communal laundry facilities is provided.
