Utilities Firms Join Forces to Serve West Yorkshire Homes

An eight-strong team of engineers at Service 2, who have a history in working with commercial customers, will apply their experience to the region’s residential market and provide boiler and central heating installations, services and repairs under a dedicated new brand- HomeServe West Yorkshire.

Service 2 joins an established network of HomeServe franchise businesses based across England, Scotland and Wales.

Through the new HomeServe West Yorkshire brand, domestic heating services will be provided to homeowners in areas including Leeds, Keighley, Harrogate, Ripon, Skipton and Ilkley.

Managing director and co-founder of Service 2, James Lovery, said: “This is a very proud day for our business. We’re delighted to be joining the HomeServe family and expanding our boiler installations and gas heating services across the domestic market in this region.

Chris Snowden, who also co-founded Service 2, added: “This new partnership gives us the opportunity to use all the skills and experience we’ve accumulated in the commercial market and apply them to residential homes to help customers right across West Yorkshire.

HomeServe West Yorkshire offers a range of domestic services including boiler installations, boiler servicing, boiler repairs, emergency boiler repairs, power flushing, appliance services and smart thermostat installations.
