London City Island is a development that is taking place in the Canning Town area of the Capital City. As a part of this development Hueck has revealed that they have supplied a selection of their top of the range products. The market leading supplies of window door and façade solutions made out of aluminium will be used on the development to make the uits water tight. Hueck is one of the biggest manufacturers and suppliers in Europe of these aluminium solutions. The company works to offer a range of both standard and bespoke products in order to suit all of their clients needs.

The 12 -acre island that is found just 20 minutes away from the centre of London as being called the Mini Manhattan. It is thought that the development will be attractive for young professionals wanting to live and work in the City as well as the creative elite of London.

The London City Island will merge both residential and commercial units and in a few years it is expected that the location will be the new home to the English National Ballet as well as the London Film School. The development of the area is being funded by a millionaire. Sean Mulryan is the founder of this large scale London development and Glenn Howells Architects has designed the residential and commercial project. The construction will be carried out by Ballymore Developments.

It has been reported that the project is being carried out at a rapid pace and the bright residential buildings, styled like the colourful apartment blocks in Manhattan and Chicago. Hueck UK will be supplying the windows and doors of the 1,700 new apartments and has also supplied the profile for the majority of them.  The units of the residential building are being constructed using a prefabrication factory in Holland before being shipped and installed to save time and reduce delays and costs.
