Howarth Timber Have Reopened Two of Their Stores

Howarth Timber and Building Supplies have reopened two of their stores after they have undergone refurbishment works. Howarth has had to move to larger premises in Tottenham, as they had expanded too much for their previous location, and the company’s Derby site has gone through a thorough modernisation.

The building supplies and timber provider has have held celebrations at each location for the re-opening. Howarth has invested more than £150,000 in order to carry out the work in Tottenham, and they have now moved into larger premises on the Leeside Road Elmlea Trading Estate. This move by Howarth timber is thought to have improved the working conditions for the team based at the site as well as creating a better retail environment for the customers. This new larger unit has two storeys and the space for Howarth to showcase their ranges of doors and floorings as well as their other timber and building supplies. The new larger location means that the company are able to stock 500 extra products in the store.

The Derby branch is located on the Pentagon Island Timber Yard has undergone a comprehensive scheme of works to modernise the store. The new Derby site was opened with celebrity visitors such as the chef Hari Ghotra and the Olympic swimmer Ross Davenport. The Derby store has been designed in order to take customers through each aspect of building and renovation works. This clever layout not only allows customers to see the processes behind house building but also has each supply and product organised for the customer to locate depending on how far along the development is.

Howarth Timber and Building Supplies have expressed their excitement at being able to welcome their customers back to their newly opened stores, and showing off their more extensive product ranges.
