Compass celebrates future talent at apprentice graduation

Over 100 apprentices have celebrated their graduation with food and support service provider, Compass Group UK & Ireland, at a recent event held at Thorpe Park.

The ceremony, hosted by Dennis Hogan, managing director, Compass Group UK & Ireland, saw each graduate presented with a certificate to acknowledge their achievement. They will now have the opportunity to continue their career with Compass, gaining even more experience and accessing hundreds of courses for further development with Compass’ comprehensive learning and development curriculum.

Last year, a total of 502 apprentices completed their Apprenticeship with Compass, and within the next 12 months a further 568 will graduate.

Earlier this year, Compass received a Grade 2 Ofsted rating for its UK Apprenticeships, demonstrating good effectiveness of leadership and management, plus good quality of teaching, learning and assessment. It has also been hailed as a premium programme for improving skills and helping people in their careers.

“Compass is a leading employer for apprentices, delivering the government’s gold standard of training and qualifications. It’s part of an exclusive club of only 14 per cent of workplaces that offer real, recognised apprenticeships.

“It was privilege to be at the graduation ceremony and I hope that other employers follow Compass Group’s lead in this area.”
