I PRONOUNCE THIS SHOW HOME OPEN

Councillor Tom Astell, the Mayor of Beverley braved the rain on Saturday, March 2nd to open two stunning new show homes at Ashberry Homes’ Pilgrims Way development.

Interest in the 114-home development has been high since the national homebuilder opened its very first digital sales office on the site in November; but the show home opening took it to a whole new level – with two reservations being taken across its opening weekend.

Melanie Smith, Ashberry Homes’ Yorkshire sales director, said: “The opening of a show home always generates an uplift in interest in a development, with would-be buyers getting their first taste of what life would really be like in one of our new build homes.”

“As always, our interior design team have gone the extra mile and the Begonia and Orchid show homes look and they both look truly spectacular.”

Being built off Woodmansey Mile, Pilgrim’s Way is only Ashberry Homes’ third development in Yorkshire since it launched in the region in August 2020 and the approach of the homebuilder is straightforward.

“Our intention is to build a development that not only sits perfectly within the surrounds of Beverley, but also delivers the most modern, energy efficient homes offering significant savings on running costs to those buying on the development,” added Melanie. “

All the homes being constructed on Pilgrim’s Way are built from the housebuilder’s Future Homes blueprint, which focuses primarily on the conservation of fuel and power. This covers everything from increasing the thickness of loft insulation to the installation of Google Nest smart learning thermostats, which typically reduce heating bills by up to 16 per cent a year, as standard. There are also solar PV panels,  improved ventilation and a waste water heat recovery system that is designed to use residual heat from drained waste water. In addition, electrical vehicle (EV) chargers are included.

Prices at Pilgrim’s Way currently range from £244,995 for a two-bedroom semi-detached Sundew to £417,995 for a four-bed detached Angelica.
