Final Homes Set to Be Sold in Devizes as Construction Nears Completion

Work at Bellway’s Quakers Walk development in Devizes is set to come to a close with nearly all properties sold. The five-star housebuilder is providing 123 new homes at the development, including 86 two, three and four-bedroom houses for private sale and 37 affordable homes available for local people through rent or shared ownership.

A total of 84 of the private homes have already been sold as the demand for more new housing in Wiltshire continues to rise. Residents have been moving into their new homes at the development – which enjoys a picturesque location by the historic Quakers Walk path – since November 2020, and all construction work is expected to be completed on site this summer.

Sales Manager for Bellway South West, Christel Hawkins, said: “Quakers Walk is meeting the growing need for housing in Wiltshire, and the fact that most of the homes we have sold at this development have been bought by people from within the county reflects this.

“Buyers here appreciate the quality of the build and customer service available, which is demonstrated by the fact that we’ve been rated as a five-star builder by the Home Builders Federation for the past five years – that means more than 90 per cent of our customers say they would recommend us to a friend or family member.

“The development’s location has also been a big draw – within a mile of the town centre which makes it easy for residents to visit the many independent shops on Devizes High Street, and within walking distance of sports clubs and a primary school, as well as overlooking scenic countryside.”
