The Country House Department bolsters team

The Country House Department (TCHD) has expanded its team with the appointment of three new country house specialists. Founded by Andrew Russell and Ben Bentley in 2020, this month TCHD is joined by Freddy Dalrymple Hamilton as Regional Director, and new Associate Directors Nikki Hemsley and Annabel Dight.

Now a nimble team of 11, TCHD prides itself on its unparalleled client service, immersive marketing methods, fair commission structure and deep understanding of the country house market. Representing an exclusive collection of best in class homes, TCHD’s highly experienced team has sold over £225million of property and secured an average 101% of the guide price for its clients since launch.

Ben Bentley, Co-Founder, comments; “We are delighted to be growing our team of country housespecialists with the appointment of Freddy, Nikki and Annabel. The trio bring with them a wealth of experience in country house sales and a deep understanding of their respective local markets.”

Andrew Russell Co-Founder, adds; “One of the key differentiators for us as an agency is the personalised relationship we have with our clients. Each agent manages only a small handful of properties and remains the single point of contact for the duration of each sale. These new hires will allow us to continue delivering a first class service while we grow our presence across the south of England.”

New Appointments:

Freddy Dalrymple Hamilton, Regional Director

Freddy is a highly experienced agent having started his career in London, before spending nearly a decade in both Savills and Knight Frank’s National Country House Departments selling prime property across the UK. Having moved back to his home county of Gloucestershire, Freddy will oversee TCHD’s Cotswolds and South West market.

She has a wealth of knowledge in Lettings and Sales in both prime central London and more recently in East Berkshire and Surrey, where she is now based with her young family. In her new role, Annabel will head up TCHD’s expansion into East Berkshire and North Surrey.

Nikki Hemsley, Associate Director

Having grown up and been schooled in Oxfordshire, Nikki Hemsley holds an especially detailed knowledge of the area. She is an agent with a breadth of experience, having started her career at Knight Frank, and after moving back to Oxfordshire in 2018, heading up village and rural country sales across the county for WEST – The Property Consultancy. As an Associate Director at TCHD, Nikki will be overseeing country house sales in Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire and West Berkshire.

These new appointments come as TCHD launches its new website, artfully showcasing its live book of instructions across the Cotswolds, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Berkshire, Surrey, Hampshire, Wiltshire and Somerset. The agency’s latest launches include a contemporary waterside home at the exclusive Lakes by Yoo estate (OIEO: £2.5million), a 14th century farm in Shalbourne (guide price: £3.5million) and a six-bedroom family home in the popular village of Highclere (guide price: £3million).
