Farrer & Co Strengthens Its Commercial Property Practice with the Addition of Partner Clare Reddy

Farrer & Co, a prominent law firm, has made a significant addition to its Commercial Property practice by welcoming Clare Reddy as a Partner.

Clare joins the firm from Lewis Silkin, where she held the position of Partner and led the Construction practice. With more than two decades of experience in construction law, Clare specializes in providing counsel on various aspects, including regeneration, mixed-use development, and the renovation and outfitting of commercial properties.

Her extensive expertise extends to advising developers, contractors, investors, and occupiers, both domestically and internationally. Recognized as a distinguished practitioner in construction law by the Legal 500 and Chambers, Clare’s appointment underscores Farrer & Co’s unwavering commitment to expanding its presence in the commercial property sector.

Mark Gauguier, Partner and Head of Farrer & Co’s Commercial Property team, commented on Clare’s appointment: “Clare has fantastic experience and expertise in areas that are strategically important to us and that will help to further strengthen our client offering. Her extensive knowledge of construction law combined with her experience in handling complex and multi-jurisdictional development projects and procurement strategies will add strength and depth to our existing commercial property expertise.”

Clare Reddy expressed her enthusiasm about joining Farrer & Co: “I am delighted to be joining Farrer & Co. The firm’s reputation for world-class, innovative services and advising on highly complex deals and projects in the commercial property sector offers a fantastic opportunity to further develop my construction practice.  Given my experience advising on regeneration projects I’m also excited to get involved in the market-leading urban extension and placemaking development projects on which Farrer & Co acts.  Having worked alongside members of the firm’s commercial property, planning and banking teams for the past couple of years for a mutual client, I’m confident that I’m joining a firm with a real commitment to excellence, integrity and client service.”
