Barratt Homes has been crowned Housebuilder of the Year 2017 as part of the Homes for Scotland Awards. This accolade has confirmed the property developing company as the number one developer of high quality homes in Scotland. This award has been announced shortly after the UK Housebuilder revealed that this year has been a record year for completions and also recognizes the success of maintaining their five star HBF status for the eight year in a row.
Each year, a panel of judges made up of industry experts consider hundreds of different entries that have come from the nation’s leading house builders as well as developers and housing associations and supply chain partners. The judges then have to decide which of the entries are to be shortlisted as finalists for each category. The Homes for Scotland Awards looks to recognise and celebrate the best practice used as part of the house building industry.
