New Structural Engineering Partner Has Been Appointed at Cundall

A new Structural Engineering Partner has been appointed at Cundall. The multi-disciplinary engineering consultants work all around the world and have offices in 11 different countries. Cundall has appointed Tim Stidwill as the new Structural Engineering Partner, and Tim will be working out of the Birmingham office. Tim is a Chartered Member of the Institution of Civil Engineers and the Institution of Structural Engineers.

Tim Stidwill will be joining Cundall after working for Ramboll, another Birmingham based role where Tim held the position of Director. In his previous role at Ramboll, Tim oversaw a number of well known projects carried out in locations across the Midlands, the UK and Europe. In his new position as Structural Engineering Partner, Tim will be tasked with developing the Midlands presence of Cundall’s structural engineering sector. In the Midlands region, Cundall are at the forefront of the market for their Building Engineering division, therefore hopefully with the addition of Tim to the team, the company’s structural sector will become equally as successful.

Tim has built up an excellent reputation working as an engineer who focuses on using BIM tools in order to create sustainable developments such as carbon accounting. Over the years Tim has been involved in the completion of a number of projects such as the Paradise development in Birmingham City Centre and Energy from Waste Facilities that were created in London and Gloucester. Tim has also provided a number of designs that have proved vitally important in a number of other projects including the Birmingham’s Children Hospital. Tim’s designs have also been used in work that has been carried out for the University of Birmingham, Birmingham City University, Leicester University and the University of Warwick to name just a few.
