DRU Launch New Range of Stoves

DRU has recently released their new DIK Geurts collection of contemporary wood stoves. The company has created a new range of attractive wood stoves with a 4.9 kw heat output and a large clear viewing window which has been made out of heat-resistant infrared glass.

DRU stands for Diepenbrook & Reigers of Ulft which was first founded 1754. The company has a UK subsidiary, Drugasar which was first established in 1975. The company works to manufacture a range of mid and high end gas fires as well as contemporary wood fires, stoves, cast iron stoves functional gas wall heaters, garden stoves, fire surrounds and other fireplace accessories for their customers. DRU’s products are all CE approved and is one of the leading brands in the UK fireplace industry. The company is also a major supplier of heating products to local governments, schools, churches, military camps and industry.

The new range of DIK Geurts fires are sturdy in construction and feature classic splayed legs and a smooth anthracite finish. The gas fires have flames and heat settings that can be adjusted with a simple slide control as the fires are also fitted with a cool touch handle. The Aste product in this new DRU range has the option of being installed freestanding as a stove or inserted into an inglenook chimney opening. The Aste also has the option of an external air version which offers cleaner burning and a higher level of efficiency.

The new Dik Geurts stove are all Eco Design ready and have been measured at an A+ energy rating. As of January next year, all of the gas fires and wood stoves must comply with this European directive. The new collection has a clean design and will suit both rural and city homes while still having a traditionally British feel.
