A luxury development of 15-storey and 45-storey towers housing 581 one and two-bedroomed apartments in the heart of Birmingham is to be looked after by Principle Estate Management.

Principle won the contract for what will be known as Brindley Drive (Edition) after a competitive tender by specialist developer Court Collaboration.

The towers, will be called Park Residence and Centenary Tower and will have a concierge and security services 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Premium facilities for residents will include a 20-metre swimming pool with natural daylight, a spa with hydra pool, sauna and steam room and a skyline gym with terrace on the 44th floor.

Other top features will be yoga and spin studios, a climbing wall, a podium terrace with cinema screen and barbecue area, inside and outside co-working study areas, private dining on 44th floor and a sky lounge on the 45th floor.

Joe Jobson, joint managing director at Principle, said: “We are thrilled to have been appointed to manage the Brindley Drive (Edition) development, which will be one of our largest single property contracts.

“We won the contract by demonstrating how we already successfully manage large schemes across the country as well as well-known clients in the region including leasehold schemes across The Calthorpe Estate.

“We were also able to explain how our MRI Qube-powered IT systems enable seamless operations of a whole package of finance, maintenance, asset management, compliance and resident engagement.

“We will now work closely with Court Collaboration throughout their design and build process to help them deliver high quality levels of professional service to make a difference every day for all residents.”

Thomas Taylor, managing director of Court Collaboration, said: “The Brindley Drive (Edition) will be the city’s first residence of its kind that combines the opulence of a five-star hotel with the comfort of home, delivering a lifestyle of unmatched luxury and wellness.

“With over 14,000 sq ft of amenity space and 581 apartments, we needed to appoint a skilled property management company with experience of handling large developments with precision and care.

“Principle impressed us during the tender process, showing how they will work closely with us in the next few years to ensure that all maintenance and service contracts are carefully set up and ready for resident occupancy.

“By the time residents are living in the development, we feel reassured that Principle will have planned the entire estate management very carefully, helping us deliver a development that will  revolutionise city living in Birmingham city centre.”

Court Collaboration’s development of Brindley Drive (Edition) is being funded by PGIM Real Estate, the real estate business of PGIM Inc., one of the largest investment firms in the world.

Launched in 2018, Principle now has 70 staff looking after a portfolio of nearly 20,000 units at around 400 developments across the UK.
