Arc of Soma: The Lagoon Edition

Somabay is delighted to unveil its latest residential project, Arc of Soma: The Lagoon Edition, which has now launched for sale globally. The new project is the latest phase of the striking Arc of Soma Suites development which crowns the top of Somabay’s peninsula, offering residents a unique sanctuary where they can feel truly at home.

The project includes 110 units, with four-unit types available in one- and three-bedroom configurations, ranging in size from 76sqm to 151sqm, with prices starting from GBP 123,606 for a Single Suite.

Somabay’s latest development offers an exciting investment opportunity for international buyers, with the Egyptian real estate market experiencing a robust demand in recent years. The residential sector is undergoing a period of significant growth, with the market size estimated at GBP 17.2 billion in 2025, and expected to reach GBP 29 billion by 2030, reflecting a compound annual growth rate of 10.96%*. Increased development of Red Sea resorts such as Somabay and other tourist destinations has been key in attracting foreign buyers and investors, in turn contributing to the growth of the market.

Arc of Soma’s contemporary modular design lends each building an air of elegance, designed with nature and modern functionality in mind. The development is centred around a 180-m2 jetty that stretches into the Red Sea, and the new Lagoon Edition redefines waterfront living, with large windows and sleek glass facades ensuring that each home benefits from natural daylight and serene views.

This new development is the latest in a range of projects across the Somabay peninsula, with each residential community having been thoughtfully designed to blend in with its surroundings. Residents of all of Somabay’s communities also benefit from access to the destination’s outstanding lifestyle offering, with highlight facilities including the Gary Player-designed Somabay Championship Golf Course, the all new state-of-the-art Soma Sports Arena – equipped with sporting facilities covering everything from padel to swimming – the Orca Dive Centre, and The Cascades Spa & Thalasso – home to the Red Sea’s only Thalasso-Tonic seawater therapy facilities.

Commenting on the new development, Ibrahim El Missiri, CEO of Somabay, said, “We are very excited to launch the latest phase of our iconic Arc of Soma Suites project with The Lagoon Edition. This latest iteration promises to deliver a new standard of waterfront living, inviting residents to connect with the surrounding nature from the comfort of their own homes. We are very proud of our efforts in the real estate space, and are looking forward to continuing our pioneering progress with this new project.”
