Top 10 UK housebuilder, Keepmoat, is celebrating the successful completion of two major housing developments in Bradford, delivering 603 energy efficient new homes.

Both schemes were delivered by the developer in partnership with Bradford Council and three local housing associations to regenerate almost 70 acres of brownfield land.

In Eccleshill, the housebuilder has transformed a former quarry site off Harrogate Road to create 311 two, three and four-bedroom homes. Now named ‘Vision’ the new homes boast energy efficient technology and accessibility to local amenities and transport links.

Meanwhile, in Allerton, the housebuilder has created a further 292 new homes at its ‘Pinnacle’ development off Cote Lane, alongside creating new public open space and improving local highways. Keepmoat has also contributed £1.5 million toward education infrastructure across the city.

Both Bradford developments were delivered in partnership with multiple local housing associations including Incommunities, Vico Homes and Accent Homes – delivering a total of 119 homes available through affordable schemes.

Nigel Robson, Land & Partnerships Director at Keepmoat, Yorkshire West, said: “At Keepmoat, we believe that our responsibility goes beyond building homes. By prioritising our partnerships and creating community spaces, we’re proud to deliver more than just new homes.

“We’re committed to transforming communities and improving the lives of local people. The completion of these developments reflects our ongoing goal to increase the supply of quality housing in Bradford – these sites have been developed with long-term sustainability and local need in mind.”

Cllr Alex Ross-Shaw, Bradford Council Executive Member for Regeneration, Planning and Transport said: “Delivered with Keepmoat and key partners, the completion of over 600 energy efficient houses, built on brownfield land, is a major step forward for Bradford district.

“These developments are testament to the council’s vision and Keepmoat’s commitment to producing good quality housing and communities with green spaces alongside investment in the required appropriate infrastructure.”

Aimee Law, Director of Development & Regeneration at Incommunities added: “We are proud to partner with Keepmoat on this project, as well as other projects across the West Yorkshire region.

“We now have 31 more high quality, affordable homes which house happy customers who are enjoying the location, great transport links and building a community. It’s fantastic to be able to offer affordable rent, Rent to Buy, and Shared Ownership homes in an area with such high housing demand.”

Keepmoat is a top 10 UK partnership homebuilder with a track-record of delivering quality new homes across the UK at prices people can afford. To date, almost 70 percent of its current developments are on brownfield sites.
