Final homes for sale at Wixams development

Construction has now entered its closing stages as the final homes are being released for sale at Bellway’s Wixams development. Once complete, Brook View will hold a collection of 137 new build homes off Ampthill Road, with only two currently remaining for sale.

The developer is delivering a selection of two-bedroom apartments and two, three and four-bedroom houses. There will be 103 homes for private sale and 34 affordable properties for local people through rent or shared ownership.

All the two-bedroom apartments have now been sold and there is just a small selection of three and four-bedroom houses still available to purchase.

Luke Southgate, Sales Director of Bellway Northern Home Counties, said: “Brook View has proved to be a popular development, with us experiencing a high level of interest even before we launched the site in January 2020.

“Wixams has quickly become a much sought-after location which benefits from a range of facilities that are already well-established within the wider area. Within this new neighbourhood, Brook View has proved to be an exceptional site where our team enjoys a wonderful relationship with the people who have made this their home.

“Site manager Sean Howard led the way by winning a Quality Award from the National House Building Council for his outstanding work at the development. His leadership has created an environment where the new residents were so happy with the service, they had received that 90 per cent of respondents in a Home Builders Federation survey gave a top score of 10 out of 10 for customer satisfaction.

“This incredible feedback, coupled with the fact that Bellway has retained its five-star builder status for the sixth year in a row, provides prospective purchasers with the reassurance that they require when making such an important purchase.”

Wixams, which is located to the south of Bedford, is comprised of four new villages which will bring 4,000 new homes, as well as schools and shops, to the area.

Luke said: “All the homes have now been released for sale at Brook View, with only four homes left to sell. There is just a selection of three and four-bedroom houses which are currently available to reserve.

“The three-bedroom semi-detached Turner house type is one of the showhomes open at the development and has been expertly dressed by our interior design team and perfectly illustrates the quality of the homes on offer here.

“The Turner makes great use of light and space, with an open-plan kitchen and living spaces. Customers always say the showhome helps them to visualise just how life would be lived in their new home. We also have The Turner opened as a Viewhome, for prospective buyers to visit.

“The other showhome available to view, is the four-bedroom Alnwick housetype, which spans over three floors and benefits from having four-double bedrooms.”

There are currently three three-bedroom houses available to reserve at Brook View, the Wixams development, and one four-bedroom Alnwick property, with prices ranging from £370,000 and £485,000 respectfully.
