Phair Windows has announced the start of in-house manufacturing for its uPVC windows and doors, marking a significant milestone in the company’s growth across Leicester, Leicestershire and the East Midlands. The family-run business aims to enhance customer control over product quality, delivery schedules and design options.

The long-standing Leicester double glazing company has introduced a new range of locally produced uPVC windows and doors tailored for homes throughout the region.

By bringing production into its own facilities, Phair Windows can now oversee every phase of delivery, from the initial consultation and design through fabrication, installation and ongoing support. This streamlined process helps ensure consistent workmanship while keeping costs competitive.

“We’ve been installing windows and doors locally since 1998, so we know exactly what East Midlands homeowners expect,” said Rob Smith, Director of Phair Windows. “By manufacturing our own uPVC products here in Leicester, we can make sure every frame, hinge and handle lives up to that standard – and that our customers aren’t kept waiting.”

The new range has been designed to deliver strong performance over time, particularly in terms of energy efficiency. Advanced multi-chamber frame construction paired with high-performance glazing improves thermal insulation and can contribute to lower energy bills. High-specification glass, durable gaskets and carefully selected hardware support long-term reliability and ease of operation.

Security features form a central element of the design. The windows and doors incorporate robust locking systems, reinforced hardware and modern security features designed to give homeowners confidence that their property is well protected. This is all backed by the company’s comprehensive insurance‑backed guarantee.

Because each product is made to measure locally, Phair Windows offers a broad selection of styles suitable for both modern developments and traditional properties. Options include casement, flush casement, tilt and turn, bay, bow and sash windows, along with a full range of uPVC and composite doors. Customers can also select from numerous colour finishes, wood-effect designs, handle styles and decorative glazing features.

“We’ve always believed that homeowners shouldn’t have to choose between quality and value,” Rob added. “Manufacturing in-house means we can invest in better materials and more advanced technology, while still keeping our pricing fair and transparent. It also gives our customers the reassurance that their windows and doors have been built by a local team that cares about the result.”

Now that production is fully established, Phair Windows is inviting homeowners, architects and trade partners throughout Leicester, Leicestershire and the East Midlands to visit, view the range and plan upcoming installations.
