The Profs Tutors continue to raise the bar for academic success in the UK, with new figures showing that 68% of A-level students tutored by The Profs achieved an A or A*—more than double the national average. At GCSE level, students achieved an average improvement of +1.4 grades, highlighting the value of early, targeted academic support.

This year’s results from The Profs’ annual Client Feedback Survey confirm that the company’s personalised approach is delivering outstanding outcomes across all levels of study. Among school-age learners, 92% improved their grades, reflecting the effectiveness of tutoring focused on both subject mastery and exam confidence.

“We’re seeing transformative outcomes across the board,” said Richard Evans, Founder of The Profs Group. “Our tailored methodology, combined with elite tutoring, is turning potential into performance, especially at the most competitive stages of academic life.”

    A-Level and GCSE Results 2025

The Profs’ students significantly outperformed their peers. While the national A/A* rate fluctuated in 2025, The Profs maintained a 68% success rate, with 25% of students achieving an A*. At GCSE level, students recorded an average uplift of +1.4 grades, with particularly strong improvements among those who began tutoring earlier in the academic year.

“These outcomes reflect both the quality of our tutor network and our tailored approach to learning,” commented Dr. Leo Evans, CEO of The Profs Group. “Rigorous tutor selection, careful student matching, and ongoing progress tracking ensure that every learner receives the support they need to thrive.”

    Resit Success

The Profs’ impact was also clear among students resitting exams. In 2025, all A-level resit students achieved a pass, underscoring the effectiveness of sustained, personalised support.
