The Eczacıbaşı Tiles Group’s VitrA Tiles brand has claimed a 2025 Red Dot Design Award for its CementEra series, part of the brand’s new product range. The series won in the ‘Product Design’ category, praised for its refined appearance and architectural flexibility. The Red Dot Awards stand among the world’s most prestigious honours in design.
Subtle sophistication with urban flair
CementEra translates the industrial character of concrete into a soft, sophisticated aesthetic. Its surface treatment and muted tones give it a contemporary yet timeless feel. The colour palette includes light greige, dark greige, light grey, and dark grey—each carefully developed to suit multiple spaces.
Two coordinated decor options introduce fluidity and movement, while sizes ranging from 60×60 cm to 120×280 cm allow for creative installations across floors and walls. The 120×120 cm mix decor tile showcases detailed patterns and a polished effect, made possible with a specialised printing approach.
An accolade from world-renowned design authorities
Established in 1955, the Red Dot Award is an international symbol of design excellence. The 2025 judging panel featured 43 experts from 21 different nations, who evaluated products based on innovation, usability, and aesthetic quality. CementEra was selected for its outstanding creative merit.
