A new community is taking shape at Bellway’s Barleywoods development on the edge of Oakham, where the first residents are settling into their new homes.
Six properties have now been occupied at the development, where Bellway is building a total of 62 homes on an 8.3-acre site off Braunston Road.
Construction work began on the site in the spring of 2023 and a total of 18 homes have now been built.
When completed, Barleywoods will also feature a central open space, three play areas and a wetland meadow.

A total of 9 affordable homes have been handed over to Sage housing association. Five of these are now occupied, while six private homes have been handed over to their new owners.
