Taking the next leap to tackle the digital skills gap, The Juice Academy has relaunched its graduate scheme to help place talented graduates, passionate about social media, into creative industry positions.

The course follows a hugely successful pilot graduate programme in November 2015, in which 19 roles in businesses were created in the area at leading companies such as BJL, Manchester Science Partnerships, Forever Manchester and Smoking Gun PR.

Graduates will have the chance to work with top companies throughout the North West while training concurrently at The Juice Academy, based right here at Tangerine HQ.

The six month long programme, starting this December, will equip graduates with the practical experience and knowledge required to step onto the career ladder and secure a full time position.

Sandy Lindsay MBE, founder and chair of Tangerine and The Juice Academy said: “The Juice Academy’s social media graduate programme is a unique training opportunity for both North West based businesses and graduates. To date we’ve trained over 180 apprentices through The Academy and now we will be providing even more highly trained young professionals to businesses in the region.

“It can be difficult getting that first foot on the career ladder, but I have every confidence that the programme will provide invaluable training and practical experience for digitally talented young people from across the region so they can get their start in the creative industry.”

Graduates will earn while they learn throughout the course, gaining six months work experience in a top North West company. Those holding a Foundation diploma or Higher National Diploma will also be considered.
