Story from Jam Press (Lava Tree House) Pictured: The tree in the bathroom with fake grass. Lava-tree! A six-bed house is for sale for £500,000 with tree growing inside the bathroom in front of the loo A six-bedroom house has gone up for sale for £500,000 but there is a tree growing inside the bathroom in front of the loo. The three-storey, semi-detached family home has an L-shaped, modern kitchen, diner, and living room. There is a wine cellar that is accessed via stairs in the floor. Four of the bedrooms - three with en suites - and the main bathroom are on the first floor with two more in the converted loft. In the large garden, there is a huge summer house with its own WC. But there is a huge tree growing inside the outdoor bathroom. One home hunter joked: “Nature's calling like never before in this bathroom. “It’s got an actual tree growing through it, complete with fake grass.” The house has just gone on the market in Walsall, West Midlands. It is being sold by Andrew Downing-Booth estate agents and advertised on Rightmove. They refer to the indoor tree as a “very rare” and “quirky feature.” The property listing reads: “A substantial six-bedroom home with a truly extensive range of upgrades and additional features. “This fantastic semi-detached property offers more than your average, including a stunning summerhouse with its own bunker, four of the six bedrooms with en-suites, and even a wine cellar in the open-plan breakfast kitchen/diner. “Location-wise, the property benefits from having various amenities easily accessible, including transport links, nature reserves, and supermarkets. “Smart-operated Wi-Fi and other systems courtesy of the 'Home' app, underfloor heating across both of the first two floors, smart speakers built into the ceilings and feature corner lighting in many of the rooms. “Security is no issue either, with both internal and external security cameras already fitted and installed. “Extern

A unique six-bedroom house, listed for £500,000, boasts an unusual addition—a tree growing inside its bathroom, right in front of the toilet.

This semi-detached, three-storey family dwelling features a modern, L-shaped kitchen, combined with a dining and living area.

Accessed through floor stairs, the property includes a wine cellar.

On the first floor are four bedrooms, three with en-suite bathrooms, along with the main bathroom. The converted loft houses two additional bedrooms.

The property’s expansive garden hosts a large summer house, complete with a toilet.

However, the outdoor bathroom’s highlight is the large tree growing inside it.

A prospective buyer humorously remarked, “This bathroom really brings nature indoors. There’s an actual tree growing through it, surrounded by artificial grass.”

Located in Walsall, West Midlands, this home is now available on the market.

The sale is handled by Andrew Downing-Booth estate agents and advertised on Rightmove.

They describe the indoor tree as a “very rare” and “unique feature.”

The property listing details, “This substantial six-bedroom house offers an extensive array of enhancements and special features. This impressive semi-detached house boasts a remarkable summerhouse with a bunker, four en-suite bedrooms, and a wine cellar in the open-plan breakfast kitchen/diner.

“The location benefits from easy access to amenities, including transportation, nature reserves, and supermarkets.

“The home features smart-operated Wi-Fi and other systems via the ‘Home’ app, underfloor heating on the first two floors, built-in smart speakers, and unique corner lighting in several rooms.

“Security is comprehensive, with both internal and external cameras installed.

“The exterior includes a spacious driveway with greenery, a garage, a beautiful garden with a lawn and slab-paved patio, a gas-fired firepit, and an extraordinary summerhouse with its own toilet and an underground bunker with lighting and power.

“This property is truly one-of-a-kind and must be seen in person to be fully appreciated. We recommend scheduling a viewing as soon as possible.”

About the tree, it continues: “The impressive summerhouse features UPVC double glazed windows, recessed ceiling spotlights, smart speakers, an artificial lawn, and a wall-mounted projector screen. A door within the floor provides access to the bunker.

“The summerhouse’s toilet is equipped with a low-level flush WC, a sink with a chrome mixer tap, and smart features.

“A distinct and unique aspect is a tree growing from the ground through the wall, with the summerhouse constructed around it.”
