International property investor and former school leader, Mazi Kahan, has announced the launch of Horizon Holding, a London-based advisory firm dedicated to improving safety and clarity for global real estate buyers.
After nearly two decades in property investment, Mazi has created a business that not only protects clients through expert due diligence but also gives them the knowledge to make informed decisions, delivered through educational programmes developed with global higher education partners.
Horizon Holding consists of two aligned branches: its buyer-side due diligence division, which independently evaluates property deals, and Mazi Kahan International, which provides investor training and business mentoring. The dual approach is particularly tailored to empower women, retirees, and new investors who want guidance rooted in transparency and real-world experience.
“I turned my struggles into a mission,” said Mazi. “When I started investing, I had no roadmap. I trusted the wrong people, made painful mistakes, and saw others lose their life savings to glossy promises that didn’t deliver. Today, I’m the person I once needed – someone who helps others invest safely, with verified facts and genuine transparency.”
Within its first half-year, the company has already helped investors navigate high-risk transactions and collectively saved more than £200,000 for two clients through improved deal verification. Horizon’s research reports assess everything from legal documents and construction standards to exit strategies and future pricing trends.
Active in both the UK and Dubai, Horizon addresses the common challenge of buyer vulnerability in international real estate markets, where sales agents typically represent developers rather than purchasers. Horizon reverses that dynamic — acting exclusively on behalf of the investor.
Complementing its advisory services, Mazi Kahan International has launched four new courses at Superior University Dubai. The programmes explore the differences between Western property markets and the Gulf region. The leading course, “Creating a Bridge Between the East and West”, supports investors in navigating regulatory and cultural nuances in the UAE property system, with several entry-level classes offered free of charge.
