Due to the improvement that has taken place in the British building and construction sectors, the British air movement specialist has had to increase their warehouse capacity. Gilberts, a company that specialises in air movement has been reaping the benefits of the improving construction sector as it has had to increase their warehousing space by nearly 10%.

The Air movement specialists has been investing in order to expand and make the most of the increased building that is taking place as part of the construction industry. The British Company has their main base in Blackpool which consists of a 85,000 square foot manufacturing area as well as a cutting edge air distribution testing facility. The warehouse has been extended by 8,500 square feet and will offer the company more space for warehousing.

The family owned and run business has also invested into their facility so that they are able to carry out more innovative R&D and testing on their solutions in order to make sure that the best system is recommended to the business’ customers in the UK and overseas. Gilberts has seen an increase in demand for their business as the construction industry has improved and this has allowed the air distribution company to take on a bigger sales team as well as try out a new sales strategy that seems to be proving successful.

Gilberts focuses on producing advanced grilles, louvres and diffusers, and natural ventilation solutions on a number of different construction projects in the UK market and abroad. The business has been investing in their facilities by expanding but has also put investment into the development of more state of the art technology. This investment includes into creating a laser fabrication centre. The culmination of the investments in warehouses, technology and new sales methods and employees means that the company is making the most of the demand for air distribution solutions as a byproduct of the new pace of the construction industry. Hopefully this investment will mean that Gilberts will continue to be successful in the future.
