Thomas & Anderson, the project managers and contract administrators of Marischal Square, has said that the demand for high quality mixed-use developments in city centre locations is likely to continue into next year.

Marischal Square is a landmark project that was completed and handed over on Friday the 17th November 2017, in Aberdeen city centre. Marischal Square is known for being the first development of its kind in Aberdeen in terms of quality and standards for a mixed-use projects. This £107 million development, which has been delivered by Muse Developments and funded by Aviva Investors. The completed development will then provide space to be utilised for dozens of businesses, leisure and hospitality amenities. Marischal Square also houses a 5m high sparkling steel sculpture that has been created by Kelpies creator, Andy Scott, and contains tens of thousands of individual metal needs.

The Partner at Thomas & Anderson, Chris Narrowmore has said that they were delighted to be chosen for the work alongside Muse Developments, Aviva and Aberdeen City Council on such a high-calibre project. Aberdeen City Council has focusing on a long-term city centre regeneration project and the delivery of Marischal Square will be a vital part of this regeneration, offering high quality development and as well as mixed-use space.

The Marischal Square development includes two office buildings that offer 173,500 sq. ft. of Grade A office space with secure basement parking space and a mixture of granite and glass in the different elevations of the building. The development has also delivered the space for seven restaurants and café bars on the ground floor of the site and a 126-room Residence Inn by Marriott.
