All of the homes have now sold at Vistry Group’s Haygate Fields location in Wellington, Shropshire. Vistry Mercia is building 188 homes under its Bovis Homes brand at the site, off Haygate Road, including a mix of three, four and five-bedroom properties.

Freya Halsall, marketing manager for Vistry Mercia, said: “Haygate Fields has proved to be a very popular development with local homebuyers since we first started work here two years ago.

“The variety of properties on offer, paired with the stunning location overlooking the Wrekin, has been an attractive offering for a range of house hunters over recent years.

“As our customers have started to move in, a real sense of community has started to develop which has been wonderful to see.”

As part of the planning agreement for the development, Vistry has provided funding of over £2 million for local services and infrastructure. Contributions include more than £532,000 towards primary education and over £300,000 towards secondary education.

Contributions also include £410,720 towards highway infrastructure, £130,000 towards off-site sport pitches, and over £40,000 towards sustainable travel and traffic calming measures.

Freya said: “In addition to providing these contributions, we’ve also built new walkways and play areas across the development for families to make the most of the outdoor space, something we understand has grown in importance to many.”

While all the homes have now sold at Haygate Fields, Vistry Mercia is building properties at nearby The Quarters at Redhill under the Bovis Homes and Linden Homes brands.
