    • Created nearly 230 new jobs locally, with 8 direct hires and 220 indirectly through

    construction

    • Over 70% let within its first month, demonstrating strong demand and appeal for high-quality, mid-market homes in Bristol

    Grainger’s Strategic Investment in Bristol

Grainger’s in-house research has identified Bristol as one of the highest-scoring UK cities for rental demand and growth potential. Over the past five years, Grainger has invested £257 million in three schemes in Bristol, which will provide 833 much-needed new rental homes upon completion. By creating operational clusters, Grainger can generate efficiencies and further invest in the customer experience, managing buildings from the local office.

Helen Gordon, Chief Executive of Grainger, said:

“We believe that Bristol is an excellent place to be investing, and our latest scheme, Millwrights Place, provides high-quality homes managed by a dedicated on-site team, raising the bar for Bristol renters.

We look forward to welcoming our newest residents to Millwrights Place and to our continued delivery of new homes in this fantastic city with the 2025 launch of Glasshouse Square.”

A Grainger resident at Hawkins & George, Grainger’s first BTR development in Bristol, praised the modern, energy-efficient apartments, central location, and the warm and welcoming residence team, stating that it is “by far the most sociable” apartment block they have lived in:

“My young family have been living in Hawkins and George since July 2022. Our two-bed apartment is modern, energy efficient and beautifully furnished. The communal areas are also a massive bonus, especially the rooftop lounge. The location is super central, it’s just a short walk to the city centre, and close to public transport.”However, the main selling point is the amazing residents team; Sarah, Olivia, Craig and Owen. They are such a warm and welcoming bunch. They’ve been able to resolve any issues we’ve had quickly, and I love our chats.

“We have lived in several apartment blocks, and this is by far the most sociable. The residents team have organised several social events throughout the year, this has been a great opportunity for us to meet other residents and has been great for us as we are new to Bristol.”
