    • New 6,000 sq ft Warwick headquarters becomes Raeon’s central manufacturing operation.
    • Facility built to supply production-grade custom battery packs to specialist sectors including Niche Automotive, Marine, Defence, Aerospace, ESS, Restomod and Motorsport.
    • Investment strengthens UK engineering capability, with R&D continuing in Oxfordshire and scaled manufacturing established in the West Midlands automotive corridor.
    • FloLock™ manufacturing process enables bespoke battery packs in as little as 12 weeks, eliminating long lead times and prohibitive tooling costs.

Raeon has officially opened a new headquarters and manufacturing centre in Warwick, signalling a major transition in the company’s growth as it moves from low-volume prototype builds to scalable production.

The new site has been developed to serve what Raeon describes as the “aggregate niche” of specialised vehicle manufacturers. While global battery suppliers focus on mass-market automotive programmes, sectors such as Defence, Marine, Aerospace and Motorsport have often been left with limited options or prohibitive development costs.

Raeon’s Warwick facility has been designed specifically to meet these needs. The 6,000 sq ft site incorporates the company’s FloLock™ manufacturing line, a proprietary resin encapsulation technique that enables highly durable, thermally managed batteries to be produced without injection moulding. This significantly reduces development costs and allows customers to move from concept to production-ready batteries in around 12 weeks.

The opening of the site also underlines Raeon’s long-term commitment to the UK supply chain. Research and development remains based near Witney in Oxfordshire, while manufacturing has been strategically placed within the UK’s automotive and engineering “Golden Triangle” to support customers with a fully domestic solution.

Murray Schofield, CEO and Co-Founder of Raeon, said:

“For too long, innovative UK manufacturers in sectors like Marine, Defence, and Niche Automotive have been forced to compromise—either buying off-the-shelf batteries that don’t fit their products or facing unpalatable costs for bespoke development. Our new Warwick facility changes that. By industrialising our FloLock™ technology here in the West Midlands, we are proving that you don’t need to be a mass-market giant to get the perfect battery. This facility is about unlocking electrification for the rest of the market and doing it right here in Britain.”

Tom Brooks, COO and Co-Founder of Raeon, added:

“Expanding our operations into this new facility represents a huge step forward for Raeon. We are moving to a semi-automated production environment capable of supporting our customers from their first prototype all the way through to series production. Whether it is high-performance Motorsport, ruggedised Defence applications, or next-generation Aerospace, this site gives us the capacity to deliver. It provides the supply chain security that is critical for the growth of the UK’s green economy.”

The Warwick manufacturing centre is already supplying customers across the UK and overseas, supporting projects in Niche Automotive, Marine, Defence, Aerospace, ESS, Restomod and Motorsport.

Raeon welcomes visits to the new facility, with further details available at www.raeon.com/visit-us.
