Commercial property agency John Truslove is handling the sale of a modern church building in Redditch with a £1.15 million price tag.

The Oasis Christian Centre, at 4 Plymouth Road in the town centre, is a 4,892 sq ft building sitting on a prominent site of just over a quarter of an acre.

Ian Parker, joint managing director at commercial property agency John Truslove, which has been appointed to sell the building, said: “The centre provides spacious modern accommodation and clearly has the potential for alternative uses.

“The property comprises a substantial, detached, mainly single storey and part two storey church and community centre.

“It was originally built in 1976 and then significantly extended and modernised in recent years.”

There is a full height glazed reception and foyer leading to the main church, which measures 10.2 metres by 19.65 metres and benefits from a lofty ceiling and air conditioning.

The community hall measures 13.76 metres by 5.22 metres overall with stores, a kitchen and WCs.

There are also male and female WCs on the ground floor, while stairs from the foyer lead to a first floor suite of four offices.

Mr Parker said: “The property is fitted to a high standard throughout and has been well maintained by our clients.

“Outside, the property occupies a site of some 0.275 acres providing ample car parking.

“The property offers versatile accommodation with potential for various uses subject to securing the necessary planning permissions, or potentially redevelopment.”

The Oasis Christian Centre is in a prominent position at the junction of Bromsgrove Road and Plymouth Road, overlooking Redditch town centre and both the bus and railway stations, as well as the entrance to the Kingfisher Shopping Centre.
