Following the completion of its first funding round, Margen Publico has launched a worldwide search for contributors to support the development of its new digital media aggregator and publishing platform.
The initiative launches amid shifting political conditions across the Americas, including renewed leadership under the Trump administration and intensified immigration enforcement by ICE. Margen Publico positions itself as a necessary response, aiming to provide an independent Hispanic perspective that connects political realities in the United States with broader movements across Latin America.
Operating as a curated aggregator and original publisher, the platform is designed to counter the fragmented nature of today’s media environment. It brings together investigative journalism, commentary and visual satire to create a cohesive forum that prioritises depth, context and civic responsibility over speed-driven news cycles.
With investment secured, Margen Publico is now in talks with prominent journalists, opinion writers and media organisations across the US and Latin America. Its collaboration model focuses on shared visibility and revenue, ensuring contributors gain access to a global readership while supporting sustainable journalism. This structure aims to amplify reporting that is often confined to regional audiences.
“We are building a network of contributors who possess the courage to question,” said Claude Martin, a leader of the Margen Publico initiative. “Writing that unpacks complexity and art that reveals fractures in authority will sit at the center of this project. Columnists, reporters and cartoonists with a strong sense of craft and responsibility will guide how Margen Publico challenges accepted narratives.”
Ahead of its official launch, the platform is welcoming expressions of interest from writers, artists and publishing partners. Those seeking a new perspective on global affairs, or wishing to contribute, can explore the project’s vision and register for updates at www.margenpublico.com.
