Innes England, the Midlands property consultants have been awarded the Most Active Agent in their region for the tenth year running. The firm has different offices in Nottingham, Derby and Leicester and has won the award that is a part of the Estates Gazette Interactive contest. The competition has been running since 2001 and puts property consultant against each other by comparing the deals they make.

In order to win the accolade, Innes England completed more than seven deals a week on average throughout last year. This allowed them to come in at number one for the office, industrial and investment categories. These back to back successes displays the hard work and expertise put in by Innes England.

The Evening Gazette interactive deals contest has been designed in order to establish which agents are completing the largest number of deals over the course of the year. The results from the contest are revealed by a research team and an independent survey that encompasses all commercial property transaction carried out by the participating businesses.

Innes England has completed over 400 deals in the industrial, office, retail, leisure and investment areas of the market for their clients around the East Midlands. Some of Innes England’s perhaps more notable deals includes the relocation of St James Place to Embankment House, which is a 19,500 sq. ft. office building located in Nottingham’s Riverside Business Park. The property consultants also oversaw Lidl’s purchase of 4.75 acres in Oakham.

Perhaps most significant was Innes England’s Leicester deal that saw 190,000 sq. ft. of space pre-let at Leicester Distribution Park. This deal allowed a large company access to a mixture of office and warehousing space. In Derby, Innes were involved in the EFA buying the Faraday and Hartley House from London & Continental Railways. This was Derby’s largest office transaction of the year.
