Development of New Cambridge Ridge Under Way

The beautiful area of Cambridge will witness a brand new structure that will bridge the water of the River Cam in order to ensure that travelers on foot and bicycle can cross the river at their ease and convenience. The plans have been implemented by a company known as Knight Architects who actually designed the structure, along with the help of Skanska. But it was uncertain until not long ago whether local councilors would actually approve of the design and would give the developers the permission to commence more constructive design work and put the plans of building the bridge into action. Yet the fears of the designers were satisfactorily quenched when the councilors declared last Thursday that they were extremely pleased with the design, felt that it was “beautiful” and were commending for producing such a nice piece of construction work in the designing stages.

A necessary new feature of the well-known “Chisolm Trail” in Cambridge, it is evident that the bridge will be extremely useful wishing to get from one side of the stretch of water to the other, whilst the structure’s use of ribs and color will help to ensure that it has the least amount of visual impact on the rest of the beautiful Cambridge countryside as possible. Through this, the bridge will not actually obstruct people’s view of the surrounding environment and will help to ensure that no one is negatively affected by the structure and that the integrity of the surrounding habitat and environment is preserved for tourists and visitors to the region as well as locals.

Furthermore, Knight Architects plan to implement a series of sitting and resting areas along the bridge structure that will mean that families and people exercising along the location will be able to rest and enjoy the peace, comfort and beauty of the Cambridge countryside more fully than they may have done in the past.
