Cumbrian Homes Released a New way of Viewing the Upcoming Development at Carleton Manor Park

Cumbrian homes have released a new and innovative way of viewing their upcoming development based at Carleton Manor Park, Penrith. In order to view the development, Cumbrian Homes have launched a virtual reality Tour of their development site. The development will see the site and 13 new apartments built on the site where Cumbrian Homes are in the current Virtual phase of the development. The Augmented Reality tours will provide a representation of the progress on the development and was designed by James Bullimore.

Bullimore works at Jabster Ltd, located at Skirwith, near to Penrith. With over 20 years’ experience of 3D design James Bullimore has been able to utilize his expertise when creating the models that are the foundation for the Virtual Reality program. The project at Carlton Manor has been created on this virtual platform by James from Architects drawings and the accompanying specifications.

The Virtual Reality tour has been created to give people an idea about what the finished project will look like. To use the system, potential buyers stand in specific hotspots to see different aspects of the projects. The use of new technology when buying houses is minimizing the guesswork and imagination need by potential buyers when looking at buying into what could be building site at the time. The program also uses local Ordinance Surveys in order to get the lay of the land just right and give the most accurate view of the final look of the site to prospective buyers. The technology can be put on to phones and tablets to give the user a 360 o view of the development in its computerised “finished” state.
