Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield (URW) today announces that Wake The Tiger, the world’s first Amazement Park®, is set to open as Europe’s largest immersive art experience at Westfield London in Summer 2026.
This reinforces Westfield London’s position as a leading cultural and leisure destination, marking an ambitious next chapter both for the centre and for Bristol-founded Wake The Tiger.
The team will transform an 80,000 sq.ft anchor unit into Westfield London’s largest leisure and entertainment venue. The design and delivery of the space will be powered by hundreds of artists, makers and multidisciplinary creatives. Two decades in the making, it marks the collective’s most ambitious project to date and will invite Londoners and tourists into a parallel world of imagination and otherworldly art.

Wake The Tiger’s expansion into Westfield London will be a creative, community-led transformation. With shared values around sustainability and cultural engagement, the collaboration opens up new possibilities for mass-scale storytelling and provides a powerful platform to connect millions through art.
Exploring themes of sustainability, community and connection, the new experience is driven by London’s diverse market and high demand for experiences that integrate culture, creativity, and community. URW’s own How We Shop consumer research highlights the appetite of the public for immersive experiences, with 62% of Gen Zs and Millennials in London saying they would spend more time with brands that incorporate play and games into the retail experience.
Jacinta Rowsell, Managing Director, Customer & Retail Operations, Northern Europe, at Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, said: “As we continue to evolve our centres, Wake The Tiger is a bold, strategic addition to our leisure line-up at Westfield London. It reflects our commitment to creating world-class, mixed-use destinations where leisure, entertainment and purpose come together to deliver culturally rich experiences beyond traditional retail.
“The signing of Wake The Tiger is grounded in shared values of sustainability and cultural engagement, perfectly aligning with our Better Places strategy. With 96% of Londoners shopping to escape the everyday, we’re proud to transform one of Westfield London’s anchor spaces with this genre-defining concept.”
Graham MacVoy, Co-Founder and CEO at Wake The Tiger, said: “When we conceptualised Wake The Tiger we knew we were taking a risk to create something unique, utilising decades of experience and working with hundreds of creatives at the cutting edge of storytelling. It’s been phenomenally successful with over 500,000 visitors since opening and now is the time to bring Wake The Tiger to the capital.”
This West London expansion marks a major leap in scale, ambition and reach. In tandem with the announcement, there are a limited number of exclusive investment opportunities for visionaries to join Wake The Tiger’s mission; “Inspire. Disrupt. Believe. For a better world.”
Luke Mitchell, Co-Founder and Chief Creative Officer at Wake The Tiger, said: “This is a culmination of over 20 years of creative world-building, from our ground-breaking festival, Boomtown, to a new genre of immersive visitor attractions; Amazement Parks®. The space in Westfield London has totally blown our mind. It’s as if it was created for us and we can’t wait to transform it into an alternate dimension.
“Westfield London is an extraordinary stage for our creative vision; we’re transforming 80,000 sq. ft. into a world of raw, unbounded art, with serious depth. Our mission is to use this space to bring joy, curiosity and connection to the heart of one of the UK’s most dynamic urban environments.”
Wake The Tiger will join Westfield London’s expanding line-up of leisure, entertainment and competitive socialising concepts, alongside TOCA Social’s largest venue to date, the 620-seat Capital Theatre opening in October 2025, Moonshot’s first UK site, City Bouldering, Puttshack, DIVR Labs, Vue, All Star Lanes, Java Whiskers and Gymbox.
