Homebuyers and investors in North London are set to reap the rewards of one of the Capital’s key regeneration projects in Enfield, as the £6 billion regeneration programme, Meridian Water, will bring 10,000 new homes, 6,000 jobs, and a revamped town centre. Alongside this major project, award-winning housebuilder Shanly Homes is making its mark, creating a selection of two and three bedroom apartments available to purchase at Uplands Park Place just minutes from the town’s centre, where buyers will enjoy the benefits that living in an up-and-coming area brings.

Set to benefit the local and wider economy, the 25-year Meridian Water regeneration masterplan is a project undertaken by Enfield Council to enrich the local area and make it an even more desirable place to call home.  The regeneration will transform Enfield’s already thriving town into a 24-hour neighbourhood, creating a destination where locals can enjoy nightlife, music, theatre and cinema all year round. As part of the works, a new train station will be built to connect local residents to wider London and a new film studio is planned to bring world-class filmmaking to the borough. Plans have also been made to ensure high-quality schools, improved health services and community facilities are included in the masterplan.

“Regeneration hotspots are always a hit with homebuyers as they make an excellent investment; new and improved local facilities mean potential future house price growth for investors, as well as a fantastic place to call home in the meantime. The regeneration works currently taking place in Enfield will hugely benefit the town centre, and we are thrilled to be playing a part in bringing new homes to the area. Our apartments at Uplands Park Place are perfect for first-time buyers and young professionals looking to enjoy the bustling lifestyle that these new facilities have to offer, as well as being a stone’s throw from Central London for when the city calls,” said Christie Alaimo, Sales and Marketing Director at Shanly Homes.

Uplands Park Place offers an exclusive collection of just nine luxury two and three-bedroom apartments split across four floors. Each property is unique in design, providing various options for every type of homebuyer. Just a short walk from Enfield town centre, the apartments are located within easy reach of numerous independent shops, boutiques, restaurants and bars, as well as being conveniently located within walking distance to Enfield Town Overground station.

The Pavilion is the stunning three-bedroom show home on the ground floor, complete with its own private patio accessed through wide, double doors. The expansive open-plan kitchen/living/dining area is fully equipped with an enviable collection of branded appliances including a Siemens fan assisted oven, a fridge-freezer and a dishwasher. Along the hallway, the spacious primary bedroom is complete with a fitted wardrobe and its own luxurious en suite. The property also has a family bathroom and two further bedrooms allowing plenty of space for visiting guests, or providing the ideal working from home space. Adding a touch of luxury, all properties benefit from underfloor heating, a lift to all floors. Each apartment will also benefit from allocated off-street parking, each with its own individual electric car charger.

Each ground floor home at Uplands Park Place has access to its own individual patioed garden, an ideal addition for young purchasers looking to enjoy some outdoor space.

Enfield beautifully combines the sense of community attributed to its historic old town, with the practicality of having interesting independent boutiques, plenty of restaurants and chic bars on the doorstep. For shoppers looking to be spoilt for choice, the apartments are just a short seven-minute drive from the Palace Gardens Shopping Centre which hosts dozens of Britain’s favourite high-street brands such as H&M, River Island and Monsoon. In the centre of town, a Champneys Spa can also be found, offering a range of treatments to help with relaxation and unwinding.

Residents at Uplands Park Place can also take full advantage of Enfield’s location on the outskirts of London’s green belt, with Trent Country Park situated close by. For those looking to get active, many sports and leisure facilities are located in the immediate vicinity, including Enfield and Bushy Park Golf Clubs and Enfield Tennis Club.

Enfield benefits from enviable road and rail connections. Uplands Park Place is located within easy reach of Oakwood tube station on the Piccadilly line, from which King’s Cross/St. Pancras can be reached in under half an hour. Just a 25 minute walk away, Enfield Town station offers direct links to Liverpool Street station on the Overground in 34 minutes. Access to the M25 can be achieved via the A10 in under 15 minutes, providing convenience for journeys to London’s airports for travel.
