Bentley Expands Southern Footprint With New London Office

Construction and development consultancy Bentley has strengthened its national presence with the opening of a new London office — a key milestone in the firm’s long-term regional growth strategy and an important step in expanding its reach across the South of England.

The launch builds on Bentley’s continued success in the Midlands and North, where the practice has grown its client base and delivered an increasingly diverse pipeline of public- and private-sector schemes. Establishing a dedicated London base will enable the consultancy to support its expanding portfolio of strategic land projects and major development opportunities across the region.

The new office will be spearheaded by main board directors Jonathon Bentley and Tom Mascari, who will drive the firm’s Southern expansion and oversee delivery of its core services, including project management, development management and cost consultancy.

“Opening our London office is an important milestone for us,” said Jonathon Bentley, managing director. “From the outset, our 2024–2030 strategic plan placed regionalisation at the heart of our growth objectives. With our work in the Midlands and North firmly established, and an increasing number of sites and clients across the South, now is the right time to commit to a permanent London presence.

“This move allows us to be closer to clients, enhance our strategic land offer, and build a local team aligned with our ambitions in the region. We’re excited about the opportunities this brings and confident we can replicate the strong results we’ve delivered elsewhere.”

Bentley currently has 13 live sites across the South and is working with long-standing clients to promote and deliver a series of strategic land and development schemes. The consultancy is also recruiting to support its growing workload, mirroring the expansion it has seen in the North.

Founded in 2013, Bentley has grown from a Midlands-based practice into a national consultancy operating across strategic land, residential and commercial sectors. The new London office marks the next chapter in this evolution, providing a platform for further regional expansion and delivering enhanced support for Southern clients.
