The refurbishment and rebranding of a historical property in Stourton, Leeds, has been completed by Towngate PLC, the commercial lettings specialist and landlord.

The site was acquired back in 2013 after being occupied by the metal manufacturer Yorkshire Copper Works. Now that the renovation and rebranding work has finished, the 300,000 square feet space and development land is ready to welcome a new tenant.

All buildings have been reroofed, while the external elevations have had cladding replaced. The demolition of an entire bay has allowed for increased loading capacity, while the installation of ground-level loading doors at the rear will further boost circulation efficiency. Additionally, the internal space features an open-plan working environment with a functional height of over nine metres.

“We’re delighted with the overhaul of this historic property, and are excited to bring it back to the market,” commented Tom Lamb, Property Manager at Towngate. “Whilst we have taken care of the key structural refurbishment, we have intentionally left the warehouse as a blank canvas, enabling modifications to suit a new tenant’s requirements,” he added.

The property at Stourton, Leeds has been rebranded by the Bigger Boat, a Mirfield based digital marketing agency, and it included the production of illuminated signage, a lettings brochure, and a new website.

The historical property represents a unique letting opportunity and anyone interested in it has the chance to come and visit the building for a tour. The site is only available for purchase as a whole to a single occupier and it includes industrial warehouse accommodation, two-storey ancillary office buildings and a 287-space car park, along with 11 acres of expansion land.
