New development at Oaklands Rise. As the economy recovers from the pandemic and we move towards a sense of normality, the summer property search season comes at the perfect time for buyers on the hunt for a home with a distinct community feel. Those looking for a home that is as versatile as their lifestyle should look no further than Oaklands Rise by Notting Hill Genesis. Situated in North West London, this exciting new development offers a range of two-bedroom apartments and on-site facilities that are perfect for socialising and entertaining guests. Prospective buyers can book a viewing at the show-home; a spacious two-bedroom duplex that perfectly exemplifies the standard of living buyers can expect here.

Available through Shared Ownership, the New development at Oaklands Rise, are at the centre of the £26 billion Old Oak and Park Royal redevelopment; epitomising the term, ‘metropolitan London living’. Stretching across 650 hectares, the wider development is on target to be one of the UK’s most connected spaces, with a planned green grid of secondary routes connecting the old and new neighbourhoods. Investment has been poured into local infrastructure, housing and jobs, in order to make this one of the UK’s largest regeneration projects.

Boasting a striking architectural design, new development at Oaklands Rise benefits from plenty of outdoor space – including a podium level landscaped garden, green streetscape, generous balconies and select roof terraces. Residents can grab a coffee in the shared workspace or visit the affectionately named, ‘Hangout’, which will also offer opportunities for group activities such as yoga, lectures and film screenings in the future. Additional on-site facilities include the luxury of a designated concierge service and 24-hour reception and security.

James Munson, Head of Marketing for Notting Hill Genesis comments: “With the prospect of restrictions lifting, many home-hunters will be thinking about being able to entertain their family and friends again in a place they can be proud of, and enjoy. Oaklands Rise is a superb choice for this, with carefully considered open plan layouts and a plenty of outdoor space in our landscaped communal gardens. Residents have a chance to join a growing community that is set to flourish in years to come, and with the availability of Shared Ownership, this a great opportunity to buy a home in a location that’s set for an exciting future. We urge prospective buyers to book a viewing at our show home to fully appreciate everything this scheme has to offer.”

Homes have been designed to maximise the sense of space and light, with large windows flooding the respective rooms with plenty of natural sunlight, and open plan spaces proving a generous hub to eat, relax, and entertain.  Amtico flooring can be found in the kitchen, hall, and living areas, with low energy downlighting present throughout.

Kitchens are sleek and contemporary in design, with modular fitted units in gloss platinum and brushed nickel handles, and a range of Zanussi and AEG integrated appliances. Bathrooms offer a sumptuous space to relax and unwind in peace; with large format wall and floor tiles, and hotel-style bespoke wall-mounted mirrors. Within the development, residents can make use of 1,000 secure cycle spaces, in addition to access to a resident-only car clu

Home-owners can reach a number of popular destinations in which to shop, dine and relax by foot or bike. In and around Willesden Junction, residents can grab a coffee, a bite to eat, or a drink at a local pub with live music. For grocery shopping, residents have the choice of a Sainsbury’s Local or Tesco Express, both of which within a few minutes’ walk from home; and for fitness fanatics, nearby Willesden Sports Centre boasts a 110-station gym, as well as a 25-metre pool, sports halls, running tracks, steam rooms and sauna rooms.

Avid shoppers can indulge in a spot of retail therapy at the popular hotspots of Westfield London – 2.3 miles/12-minute cycle, Portobello Road – 2.6 miles/15-minute cycle or Wembley Park – 3.3 miles/21-minute cycle; and for outdoor pursuits, Wormwood Scrubs is just 1.4 miles away, or six minutes by bike.

Commuters are well catered for at Oaklands Rise, with Willesden Junction station just 11 minutes, North Acton underground station 12 minutes, and Acton Mainline station 23 minutes away on foot respectively. Tow paths along the canal offer a car-free route into more central parts of London by foot or bike. Further improving the sense of ease, work has started on a major new station at Old Oak Common – situated just moment away. This will be the only location where the new Elizabeth line and HS2 will meet, making it one of the most connected places in the UK. Travellers in the future will be able reach Heathrow in 8 minutes, the West End in 10 minutes, and Birmingham in 38 minutes.
