Millfield Estates has announced that they have secured a new five-year lease with Flying Colours which is a specialist wealth management consultancy practice. The new lease has been secured at Yorkshire House, Chapel Street, Liverpool.

Millfield Estates first acquired the former bank building in May 2016 and has since carried out a major upgrade programme, working to invest in the building’s common areas as well as the vacant suites in the building. The investment by the family owned group of companies appears to have payed off, with the property now fully let after a deal which has been agreed for the 3,283 sq. ft. third floor suite.

Worthington Owen and CBRE were the agents that worked to negotiate this deal on behalf of Millfield Estates. It is great news for the company that they have been able to see a return on their investment, with the entire third floor space let to such a reputable company like Flying Colours. The new lease on the building means that Yorkshire House if now fully let for the first time since the building was originally refurbished, work that took place in 2001.

Millfield Estates is a company that was first founded in 1962 and has managed to over the years build a substantial portfolio of industrial estates, trade counter developments, offices and other prime retail units in a range of different location spread across the UK. The company’s roots lie in the manufacture and distribution of replacement spare parts for domestic appliances and the manufacture of visual display equipment for education, office and the healthcare sector.
